Our Mission

At Waypoint, our mission is to unite overland camping enthusiasts into a warm and welcoming community. We’re all about sharing adventures, swapping tips, and making our journeys even better together. Let’s turn overlanding into a fun and inclusive experience with awesome events and shared experiences!

Our Hope

We understand that partnering with a new event is difficult, we don’t have the social media draw to make a huge impact, we don’t have an established customer base to draw from and we don’t have a track record to prove that your investment of time and money will be well worth it.
What we do have however, is hope. We hope that you’ll see the idea behind the community campout as one you want to stand behind, something that you’ll see yourself participating in actively for years to come. We hope that you’ll see our small numbers at this point as a jumping off point, something that will grow and develop with time and we hope that you’ll see the passion behind this idea as something you want to invest in.

What we offer

Social Media partnership: As an organization, our socials are fairly new, but our personal instagram and facebook pages reach out to several overlanding and offroad associations and groups throughout Ontario and Canada. We will continue to use our main Waypoint pages as a voice, shared by these personal pages to continue to grow our following and yours as well. We’d also love to see some of our promotional posts up on your pages, so your customer’s know what to expect from the community campout.
Unlimited in size of partner booth size: As a partner for the first year, we will allow you to set up a vending/information booth to the size you need and will work with you to ensure you have exposure to all participants. No hiding you behind another booth and no placement that prevents traffic, our vendor row is set up in such a way that all vendors have the ability to be comfortable and get their product’s out there.
Free Admission: As a Waypoint partner, we offer free admission to yourself and your staff for the event (up to 4 staff members), you don’t have to remain in vendor row either as we have community hubs nearby where you can be camped out.
What we ask in return: We simply ask that you share some of our social media content on your pages, provide promotional items (stickers, etc) for our participant swag packs and make a donation in-kind to our Saturday raffle. That’s it!
